Stan’s Health Foods, which opened in 1984 at 7161 Frankford Ave. (at Wellington Street), will ring in the new year with a move to a new location in the neighborhood.
Owner Sharon Doyle will open on Jan. 2 at 3524 Cottman Ave., between Tailhook Tavern and Infinity Jewelers.
For now, Stan’s will stay open at Frankford and Wellington through New Year’s Eve. The hours are weekdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The store sells, among other things, bags and loose teas; personal care products; healthy groceries and snacks; body detoxing and cleansing products; protein, energy and juice drinks; weight-loss products; vitamins, supplements and herbs; and body-building supplements.
The shop also carries natural pet products and treats, and pets are allowed in the store. It delivers and mails purchases, and accepts recommendations for new items to stock.
